A picture of a previously unknown problem can justify any additional expenses and prove your value as a trustworthy tradesperson. When doing inspections it is a great idea to take pictures of any areas you need to highlight. It shows the situation at the time you viewed it. This gives you a chance to explain things as you saw them. It leaves no room for misunderstandings when you have photographic documentation.

Artists often photograph a scene before painting, to give them a reminder of their original impressions. Merchandisers often take a photograph of their work after completion, police take photographs of crime scenes and reporters take photographs of the subjects of their stories.
